SEGA and I are impressed with Star Trek Online graphics.. They are impressive with the right machine.

What is wrong with this Steam notification?

Ok.. so two of us purchased BattleField Bad Company 2 from Steam. Purchasing via Digital Distribution seemed like a good way to be able to play the title at launch. There would be no standing in line at a midnight opening at places like Gamestop or Best Buy. All we needed was to sit back and let the download flow and crank up the game correct?

Well for me this is the second title that I have pre-ordered from Steam. The first title I was given a pre-load which let me load up the game prior to launch day so I would be ready to game as soon as it was launched. This time it is launch day and no pre-load for me. Come to think of it not even any indication as to when I will be able to download and play the game.

So here I wait.. wondering where my download is.. and hoping that I will get to play this evening or at lunch today. As a side note.. The last pre-order from Steam (Borderlands) launched late on Steam. While others online are enjoying the title Steam purchasers sit refreshing the screen wondering.

Well a couple of us have been playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 like it was the only way to get air when inside the house. This title is addicting now just imagine how it will be when there is more than one map out there.

Check out the video to get some tips if you are planning on giving this one a try. Oh and if you happen to be on a PC we have a STEAM group now so post a comment to get an invite and join in the fun.

We have made it back from the dead..or almost dead. We know things are a bit rough around the edges but here is our first podcast in a few years. Have a listen and see what you think. We have SEGA, gshocker and Phestan all back. Looking to find some more lost IStillPlayGame members to fill out the crew.

We will have an RSS feed to subscribe to soon. Just wanted to get this first one posted.

Alienware shoots for the moon with this new ultra portable gaming machine. I know it is not the smallest laptop out there but for a game machine it is pretty small. (note Star Trek Online being played)
